If you knew for certain you would never be happy,

how would you change your life, if at all?

It's possible to find pockets of happiness ...even in small moments

The irony of this, this has to be how a lot of us are feeling right now cause 🎯 I'm contemplating how I should proceed with this right now myself

@BLP11520 I wish he had cast his cares at the feet of Jesus 😪

@BLP11520 at the same time, i am human and see why people see we christians as opportunistic when we witness at times like these. and i also see why God would be a hard entity to believe in when so much trauma is involved

If i knew the outcome was certain regardless of my actions i wouldn't change anything. But it would be difficult to accept such an outcome is certain since i am rather optimistic.

@TheunderdogofNY Thanks for the well thought out answer.

I think it’s too late for me to change my life. I don’t have the energy.

@Missadventurous I’m sorry, I hope you can fix that. Depression can make you feel weak

@Missadventurous the people in my life are really depressing to know. It doesn’t help either. I hope you can find a solution soon

I'll try to still see the good things of it.
Even if one can't be really happy,..
I'd still do my best.

@SW-User Pretty cool answer tbh.

I'm there already, I'm drinking it away...
BeJeweled · 61-69, F
I looked thru the comments and you need to get away to rejuvinate. Do you have relatives, children, friends, etc, who could give you a break to take care of your wife once in a while so you can get a few days off?

By doing what I do but add more exercise and replace some things woyh good things. It will happen once we get our AC.

Still trying to figure that out for myself. No easy answers.
What an odd question.🤔

How would you know ?

Life changes , we never know whats going to happen for sure .

@OogieBoogie I appreciate your honesty. I have to digest it all....Again, I appreciate it.
@originnone You've just gotten lost in being all carer and no 'insert your name here'

Too vague..I need specifics
originnone · 61-69, M
@Wiseacre Ok....it's a hypothetical, like I can only eat one food for the rest of my life...what would it be. It's a "nonsense" question designed to provoke telling something about who you are. In this case how much life means to you vs. how much happiness means to you....
Strongtea · 22-25, M
I’d stop trying to please everyone.
I would strive for comfort and contentment, with happiness as too lofty a goal.
I would seek the small comforts and try to be grateful for those.
Lilnonames · F
I am happy 😋

@Lilnonames but hypothetically....
