Ugh I think I exercised myself into a fibromyalgia flare up

I have worked out all weekend and pushed it by working out yesterday as well. Today when I woke up, I felt like 💩 and it's just getting worse as the day goes on. My whole body aches but it's not like a normal "post workout pain", it's deeper, bone deep, and also my skin feels extra sensitive today, so I know it's a flare up. 😔

Today and tomorrow are gonna be recovery days for me.

Please stick to only simple yoga & breathing exercise (pranayam part of yoga)
(My dear wife had suffered from fibromyalgia & have come out after 15 years of recurring pain.I know how terrible it can become)
As such fibromyalgia doesn't have a real base, like pulled or tired muscles or ligaments or overload.
Yet, strenuous 'Workout' may lead to something where the nerves start to send off the wrong signals of pain, which causes a flare-up of fibromyalgia.
Prayers for a speedy relief - take care. 💜
@Domking Yoga is a joke and fibromyalgia is very real, it's an autoimmune disorder based in the nerves.

My mother has fibromyalgia and the start of arthritis in certain areas

She said the worst part is having trouble doing things that never would have gave her issues prior. She hates it and said she feels like she’s constantly complaining of some ailment bc of it. She gets this weird thing where even the sheet from her bed cant touch and rub on her ankles…. She said it feels so irritating and the pain is past the skin.

It sounds really irritating to deal with

Girl you can fibro my algia.
Do you live in a legal rec state? If so I recommend indica edibles, preferably a "purple" strain as they have high anti inflammatory properties, but avoid the cbd ones, those are nothing but placebos.

@NativePortlander1970 I live in Arizona and do use edibles regularly, they're such a big help.
@DearAmbellina2113 That's good that medibles are helping you, my BFF in Denver has a friend there that makes gummies for her out of Grape Ape to help her with her seizure disorder, she hit her head against the window of her Greyhound bus in western Nebraska when it hit a patch of ice and ended on the side of westbound I-80 when she was living here in iowa, where I met her, when she got news that her Dad was diagnosed with cancer.
