Who is old enough to remember Prohibition and speakeasies?

The last people who could personally remember Prohibition (1920–1933) would have been born in the 1910s or earlier. Just for example, someone born in 1919 would have been 14 in 1933, while those born around 1910 would have been in their early 20s during the period. As of May 10, 2026, anyone who lived through Prohibition would be roughly 107 years old or older, so direct memories of that era are now extremely rare.

Just to give you an idea

Saw it in movies.
104 yr old bandleader/trumpet player and former husband of Mamie Van Doren, Ray Anthony, would've been 11 yrs old when FDR was inaugurated in March 1933.
