Her name is/was Stephanie. We were15, at a weekend retreat for YMCA camp counselor training. We had just met hours before. Less than an hour later, she was done with me.
..she was using me to get back at her boyfriend. I was confused and crushed at first and for a while after, but looking back, it was like the song says, "if it feels this good being used, then use me up," ..every time.

@SilverF0x yes and no. She took something from me that I'd been wanting to give away since 5th or 6th grade so I was eager to give it to her. ..almost too eager 😁.
She lived in a different county, same county as her bf. We spoke on the phone a few times, but it was a toll call (remember those?), so we didn't talk long or often. It would have never worked out but it gave me the confidence I needed to get with the girl who would become my first real long term gf, who I really loved and to an extent, still do. We're friends on fb. We live close but haven't occupied the same space since we were young adults. She mentioned it a couple times. I pretended I didn't hear. We were both married and had/have kids who were young at the time.
Something About Mary ( one of the funniest movies ever made) was mentioned in another comment. She (xgf) has that sort of quality about her. Professional, skilled, beautiful inside and out. ..even has a close cousin with Downs Syndrome. We used to spend a lot of time babysitting him. In fact, he's how we met years earlier. I saw her and her sister being unkind to him so i was unkind to them and they cried and I felt like shit but was only visiting at the time (it was my dads neighborhood).
I moved in with my dad years later. When I saw her a year or so after that, I didn't recognize her from before. She had grown into a young lady and her beauty stopped me in my tracks. She was all I could think about. I stopped dating this one girl I had been kinda seeing and focused on "Mary." She remembered me from before and asked me to confirm that I wouldn't rub sand in her face like I'd done in defense of her cousin back then (I just did to her what she had done to him because he'd stopped to jump into the pile of sand someone had in their driveway for some upcoming mortar work or something. ..it was a new housing tract). She was mostly mentioning it just let me know that she remembered me and that she was that girl. She knew she had it coming and I then knew she lived close to me. .. BOI)N)N)G)G)G) ) )) )))
Its funny how one memory will trigger a series of memories that lead to a trip down memory lane.. now the memories are coming up like the third class passengers of the Titanic.. lol too many to keep up with

Rachel. She was a closest friend at the time and she bugged me enough to find out that I had never kissed anyone and she said she wanted to be my first. I told her no and we laughed it off and put on a movie....28 days (not the zombie movie, the rehab movie). I don't even remember how it started but we were kissing before the movie barely even started. I still haven't actually seen the movie.
