So if men are blamed for wanting to dominate, what are women blamed for, with an equal intensity ?

I know I might be risking my night quietness with this question..but heh:)

Undermining?

That doesn't reflect my view, but it's my guess at the answer to your question.

@SinlessOnslaught Like belittling or not respecting somehow?
@Boeing Like secretly harming someone's reputation or control of something while trying to appear harmless.
TheRealBarbossa · 36-40, T
Wanting equality in general

Somehow a lot of men (and even some women) think that's a lot to ask for
TheRealBarbossa · 36-40, T
@Boeing pretty much.

Even the bible surpress women from the very start.

I'm not a believer of that book, but allegedly the first wife of Adam was Lilith. However, she demanded equality in all aspects of life, so she was turned into a demon and has to spend eternity being punished by having her children killed off one by one.

Wether or not you believe in the bible, it explains a lot in regards to why religious people think women are the weaker sex, and that men are "ment" to be dominant in all aspects of life. Be it at home or in politics etc.

Eve was made by Adams rib to remind her of the fact she owed him her very existance, meaning she should bow before him and let him be in charge.

@TheRealBarbossa
Equality means woman always gets her way & then some..
TheRealBarbossa · 36-40, T
@BluntSm0ker absolutely wrong. It means a woman is as powerful and respected as a man. No more, no less.
Peace
@Boeing I think women tend to avoid confrontation and promote peaceful coexistence. Of course there are exceptions, like my wife when I control the thermostat. But in general

@BiasForAction I laughed for the wify comment, but actually your comment adds value to my question and is changing the direction of my thinking so thank you for that.

So instead of seeing the desire for dominance as a negative trait I see it as a leadership trait. It is one way of leading, women carry a different way of leading.

Being " too emotional "
Boeing · 36-40
@pituitarypendulum mm okay carries some degree of truth, as an opposition to the dominance, though if we were to oppose those two, it resembles more of a child-parent relationship rather a male-female
Boeing · 36-40
@Notladylike no, not true. Men are blamed for a lot too. I am looking for the top thing, the biggest shadow of the feminine, in relation to the masculine.
@Boeing wanting more

Passive aggressiveness.
Boeing · 36-40
@DunningKruger manipulation?
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
@Boeing That, too.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@DunningKruger My wife bought 18 cans of tomato paste because I did not buy them whey the were 10 cents off. So yes.
JackDaniels · 46-50, M
Over bearing.
Boeing · 36-40
@JackDaniels yes there is some truth here, that tolerance that's ending in allowance, enabling
JackDaniels · 46-50, M
@Boeing I was just throwing that out that. Most woman are not really that way.
Boeing · 36-40
@JackDaniels right, I find it's still a prevalent feminine shadow, even if not expressed through most women.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
Boeing · 36-40
@JimboSaturn hmm I don't think that's it, it doesn't carry the same intensity ..
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@JimboSaturn Nagging isn't about intensity, it's all about endurance. Nagging is a marathon not a sprint.

:-)
Boeing · 36-40
@SumKindaMunster Is it the feminine way of dominance, what would you say?
SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
@Boeing Typically, in my experience, women don't dominate, they sit back, let you make mistakes, then let you know all the things you did wrong.
well. if you dont know im not telling you ! 🤓
BrandonWyatt36 · 36-40, M
