Wanting equality in general
Somehow a lot of men (and even some women) think that's a lot to ask for

@TheRealBarbossa So, not allowing them to have the dominance, in a sense?
TheRealBarbossa · 36-40, T
@Boeing pretty much.
Even the bible surpress women from the very start.
I'm not a believer of that book, but allegedly the first wife of Adam was Lilith. However, she demanded equality in all aspects of life, so she was turned into a demon and has to spend eternity being punished by having her children killed off one by one.
Wether or not you believe in the bible, it explains a lot in regards to why religious people think women are the weaker sex, and that men are "ment" to be dominant in all aspects of life. Be it at home or in politics etc.
Eve was made by Adams rib to remind her of the fact she owed him her very existance, meaning she should bow before him and let him be in charge.

@BluntSm0ker absolutely wrong. It means a woman is as powerful and respected as a man. No more, no less.

@TheRealBarbossa That illustrates how Christianity (and most organized religions) are steeped in misogyny.
Part of leaving the church for me meant understanding that being a Christian was incompatible with my feminist beliefs.
