What if the life you’re living isn’t the one you were meant for?

Certainly not where I'd envisioned, once upon a time.

But: ''Life is what happens while we're busy making other plans."

The path ahead is rarely a straight line. Most of us threw out our carefully drawn maps decades ago. Shunted through life's trap doors, resilience, and a willingness to adapt are our greatest assets now.

There is purpose amidst the chaos, though. We are exactly where we need to be.
Placed, to grow by trial through fire; fitting us for our one true calling.
And along the way, serve as a beacon of hope & strength for others in the struggle.

I think it’s funny when someone thinks we were “meant” for anything. I don’t believe that. I believe your life is what you make of it for the most part.

We all have two lives.. The one we wanted and intended.. And the one we live through circumstance, our own or those of others..If we are fortunate, the two intersect from time to time..I have been fortunate..😷

I altered my destiny a long time ago, leaving everything behind as I knew i could find happiness. My life isn't perfect, but I've made the most of everything

I always thought I was destined to die gloriously in battle! Happily, we got out of Vietnam just as I got out of high school and I never fulfilled my true destiny.

I'm not complaining...

I know it is not

I don't know anything other than what I'm living so I wouldn't know the difference.

It sometimes happens that way. My dad should have been an architect. My mom should have been a concert pianist.

Life is change. Predetermination is a fantasy that many suffer from because they don't like their existence.

Dagnabit, you're right! I'm a'headin' on over to Miley's house and the heck with that pesky restraining order!

Either you live with the cards that you are dealt. Or you do something to change it. If you are meant for something different then it will present itself.

Then I'd want a redo

There's no such thing as being meant for.

Humans arnt meant to sit in classrooms and work 40 hr works weeks until they’re to old to Enjoi any scraps they’ve gathered..

Then you must be a liberal / socialist.

We are where we're suppose to be at all times, which means there is no such thing as not living the life you weren't meant to live.
