Can the scientific method be applied to political issues?

I’m trying to do this with limited success so far

When I look at news I use 3 different sources from 3 different political spheres, and trust where the 3 stories overlap to be possible trustworthy.

If I can be bothered. I prefer regional news to national/international stories.

@AdmiralPrune I agree but I don’t waste money on things like biased news sources I’d rather eat well than pay to read biased articles

@exchrist Apologies. I hadn’t realised your situation was so difficult.

@AdmiralPrune I mean would you rather have spare money or pay to read only one perspectives’ take on things? I’m not wanting for anything I just know not to waste money
That perspective is literally the most conservative one to live by

Sounds like Communism to me.

@GeistInTheMachine you equate scientific analysis to communism? Seems the obvious facist tendencies of our current leaders is far closer to communism than a bit of independent analysis and critique.

Lol, the two are mutually exclusive!

Politics can be scientific.
