Can the scientific method be applied to political issues?

I’m trying to do this with limited success so far

When I look at news I use 3 different sources from 3 different political spheres, and trust where the 3 stories overlap to be possible trustworthy.

If I can be bothered. I prefer regional news to national/international stories.

@AdmiralPrune in try to do similar though I specifically avoid Fox News when possible. To achieve a complete perspective whenever possible

@jehova You have to have an unbiased approach or your won’t get unbiased news.

@AdmiralPrune i can avoid Fox News they are very biased I’ll do conservative sources such as Wall Street journal or breitbart but most conservative media sources are pay to access so why bother?

@exchrist Then you’re only getting centrist or left leaning news. And you would therefore have to accept that label.

I prefer more independence to to my viewing.

@AdmiralPrune I agree but I don’t waste money on things like biased news sources I’d rather eat well than pay to read biased articles

@exchrist Apologies. I hadn’t realised your situation was so difficult.

@AdmiralPrune I mean would you rather have spare money or pay to read only one perspectives’ take on things? I’m not wanting for anything I just know not to waste money
That perspective is literally the most conservative one to live by
