Is it sad to ask someone to send me a voice note when they get online or when they feel alone and they ignore me?

I want to feel wanted I guess and I asked for that request twice and got ignored both times.
I need to grow up and stop being pathetic right?

I guess I can't have everything. Being normal is not for me maybe I need to accept that.

It depends on the relationship, but assuming the right relationship, it seems like a simple request.

And we all have our own needs or desires, which can sometimes be different than others.

Like sometimes I need to know that someone cares, or hear from someone, anyone I know, basically signaling that I'm included in some sort of circle, and not left out of the world and all alone.

In that light, the good news is getting ignored multiple times is normal. It's not fun. It's not celebratory. But, it is one outcome of normal interactions. So... congrats.

@itsok The thing is I do it for them and I expect the same to be done for me. And it upsets me when my expectations are not met.

@OlderSometimesWiser Though they do send me voice notes when we chat and we talk on the phone, they just don't do it when I'm not available while I do it for them when they are not available.
I'm a Libra I like balance.
