Are you doing something in your life that you don't even want to do ?

I did, I had to, my quality of life was bad without the surgery. It's been 5 days, I regret it now, but in time and physical therapy, Ill get myself back. Okay, half, but I do the other half in the fall. Hardest thing I've had to do. It's gonna be worth it though...

I’d love to meet someone who isn’t doing something they don’t want to do in their life. As for why they put up with it, I can only speak for myself, but it’s because adulting. You know, responsibilities, obligations, things you have to do and put up with if you want to get somewhere in life. It sucks and gets mundane and stressful, but it’s better than the alternative.

i am fighting a war to protect the territory and independence of my country. because those things are threatened by a foreign invader, i want to defend them... but i would much rather they were not threatened, so i would not have to fight and kill the invader... then i could go on holiday, lie on a beach, swim in the sea, sleep with my girlfriend... and make some plans for my future...

sometimes, you simply have to do stuff you'd rather not.

Sometimes dreams don’t pay the bills. Life happens and one has to do what they have to do to pay bills, keep a roof over their head, keep utilities running, and, honestly, just survive.

Because I'm an adult and I have responsibilities to take care of so I have to do things I don't want to do every day.

I'm retired from a job I had for 30 years to the day - then it was adios.

Well, I have to work so I can afford to exist. Otherwise, I would not do it.

Because doing anything else would require dealing with even more BS than I do now. At least that's what I think most of the time.
