Do u still shop at Walmart or Target 🎯

I do.
I do not care about the politics that surrounds this issue here today. Yes there is corruption all over the world. Especially in big corporations. However when you boycott these businesses, you are hurting the employees and the community. There are other ways to solve this problem. But refusing to spend your hard earned dollars where it counts does not.
Do you still shop at Walmart or Target now.
Comments please. ☺🎯

Yes, I shop at Walmart, but mostly for convenience, and less to save money. My Walmart Super Center has everything from groceries to oil changes, so the convenience is what I like.
I've honestly only been in a Target maybe a hand full of times my entire life. Every time I go in there they have a poor selection of brands to choose from.

@calicuz I always buy my engine oil, oil filters, even headlight/taillight bulbs, or car batteries at Wal Mart. Best place for those little car maintenance things in my opinion

@ChiefJustWalks

Yes, it sure is, they have a great auto section.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
I avoid both whenever possible. I try to support local small merchants with higher inventory quality.

I’m also not a fan of their pajama wearing clientele. It’s just not worth the savings. Plus, are you really saving when the goods you’re purchasing are often of lower quality? You just end up buying more often and buying things that are unnecessary but you bought it because it was cheap.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Adogslife Where I am the stores have excellent quality. Speak for yourself.

I didn't know there was a controversy with Target or Wal Mart but I shop at Target often. I hardly go to Wal Marts but when I do it's usually when I'm looking for 1 specific thing & they're the best place to get it
Adrift · 61-69, F
I only shop at Walmart if I have too but most of the time they don't have what I needed anyway.
The one closest to where I live is poorly managed and the people that work there don't seem to care.
I dont go to target that often because its in a part of town that inconvenient to get too.
I usually get my stuff online and shop for groceries at the outlet markets.
Punches · 46-50, F
I do not shop at Target cause it is too expensive.
I do buy things at walmart that are cheaper.

Politics plays NO role in how I spend my money. Companies KEEP changing their stance on issues anyways so not like I can keep up.

I go where my money will stretch the furthest.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Punches Well said.
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
I go to walmart atleast twice a week. I maybe shopped at Target atleast twice my entire life. I didn't like it, at work they gave me a $300 Christmas target gift card so i had to shop there, i bought xmas gifts and the 2nd time i was looking for a canopy tent for a paint party for my daughters . I ended up buying it from Academy.
tobynshorty · 51-55, F
Yes I shop at Walmart. They have everything I need. They also have delivery which is nice when you live in rural areas.
Blondily · F
There are no walmarts here just target. If we had a walmart I'd shop there.

DownTheStreet · 56-60, M
Target is often out of stock and they’ve shifted their products decor and upscale … so forget them. Still shop Walmart.

There’s a loud group saying it’s down to target ditching DEI but they’ve being falling out of relevancy for some time now.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@DownTheStreet Perhaps.
Some .. not regularly. Do more business with other grocery stores and Sam's Club, Amazon and other on-line options
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@BrandNewMan Amazon is good. But even they have been catching some heat lately.
@Zonuss Impervious to the whole cancel culture stuff of the left. In fact, I purposefully spent some money at Target during the recent boycotts.
i shop some at costco, walmart, target, amazon. i usually dont care much for walmart, but, the walmart over by where i live is actually well maintained.
Punches · 46-50, F
@YourMomsSecretCrush I am guessing your walmart doesn't have a lot of pajama people?
@Punches not in this area. If you go about 20 minutes east….. then yeah. LOL
OverTheHill · 61-69, M
I tend to shop where I am able make my money stretch furthest.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
They're a bit far so I shop at Fairprice and Sheng Siong
FreestyleArt · 36-40, M
Neither
$2 per item cheaper on most stuff at Wal-Mart vs the local grocery chain
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Justafantasy That is true.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
I bought some Easter eggs from Kmart, we don't have Walmarts here..
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Thevy29 Independent international chains.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Thevy29 It says there are 348 of those KMart stores across Australia and New Zealand. 🌍
ShenaniganFoodie · 36-40, M
@Zonuss He is not from a civilized part of Australia.
exchrist · 31-35
Sometimes, mostly. Both are close to me. There are not many other options. Plus i do not drive.
thisguy20 · 41-45, M
Occasionally. But most of the things I buy either come from the grocery store or Boscov's (department store)
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Walmart occasionally only because theyre a customer
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@MarineBob Well in your case that's different.
KingofBones1 · 46-50, M
Absolutely I picked up a box of Buckshot over there the other day
Morvoren · F
Do you have politics over there about what store you use?
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Morvoren Not me. I could care less.
Morvoren · F
@Zonuss Yeah that’s weird.
target shut down their stores in canada as they failed miserably, and walmart's food is garbage so no....i might get some articles of clothing from walmart though
James1956 · 61-69, M

dale74 · M

HumanEarth · F
Try finding Wonder bread at Walmart
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@HumanEarth Why. I prefer white bread. 🍞 ☺
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
