If u could live in another country where would it be ? 🌎 ⛱

Greetings ladies and gentlemen. Now let me ask you this. If you could move to another country where would it be. For me it would be Brazil. It seems like such a beautiful slice of paradise. And I heard that the food there is delicious too.
Tell me if you will, what country would you live in if you could choose to do so. Best answer wins. ☺

And I hear the beaches there are wonderful. But I'd want to make sure I know more before I move to a place. Doing a few visits until I know better what I'd be getting into.
*edit*
Thank you for BC, @Zonuss.

What a beautiful picture, wouldn't wanna be there if a tsunami ever happened. If language wasn't a barrier, I'd pick Iceland, develop friendships with those who know Bjork's family and friends, that would be really nice.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@MrAlmostCrazy Iceland. Interesting.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@MrAlmostCrazy That's Rio De Janeiro. But most of Brazil is further inland. You have beautiful cities like Palmas and Amazonas there too.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
That hotel in the second photo is the (or was) the Sheraton. I stayed there in 1999.
When I retire I plan on wintering in either Panama , Costa Rica , Colombia , or Puerto Rico. Maybe even Ecuador .
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@AthrillatheHunt People always complain about the crime down in South America.
But here in the US it's no different. I can assure you that. Especially in the inner cities. ☺
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Zonuss agreed 100%
danielsnyder · 36-40, M
Wales. Nice out of the way areas and communing with my ancestors.
Sazzio · 36-40, M
@danielsnyder Also people seem chilled over there. But TBH only way to get to know people is by living there. As tourist ALL people seem nice everywhere.
danielsnyder · 36-40, M
True. I would test anyplace for around three months prior to moving permanently. Tuscany is also worth a try due to the natural beauty and lifestyle. Not sure I would want to learn a new language. @Sazzio
Sazzio · 36-40, M
Easily USA. Bigger stuff init? Plus I know English so saves hastle to learn 2nd (or in my case 3rd) language. Big country and Trump don't bother me.
@Sazzio trouble is they might deport you even if you have your papers under the current administration.
@froggtongue It's simple. Be here legally .. your entry requirements squared away. Don't commit crimes while you are here (duh) .. you'll be fine.

Pedos, drug dealers, rapists and terrorists etc are not welcome. Bunch o'fecking outlandish "sky is falling" claims to the contrary, there should not be an issue if you are a stand up person.
@BrandNewMan I hope there isn't. I truly hope that's how it works. But if you or someone gets accused and sent out, I hope they get the right of due process to determine if the accusation is true.
Please do get the right documents and do the legal process. We'd welcome you to this country.
Australia. They still speak english, and the northern parts are beautiful.
swirlie · F
@Zonuss
...yeah, just like the Indigenous people of the USA spoke their own language before the Brits showed up 250 years ago and now Indigenous people who live in the USA also speak English! Wow! I wonder how that happened, Zonuss?

This leads me to ask, are you an Indigenous person Zonuss?
@swirlie lmao, def american. Sadly, I don't know any of the other languages spoken there 😓
swirlie · F
@GohantheThird
I think most speak Australian, but only as a second language when foreigners come around.

AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@danielsnyder Monte Carlo is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been .
danielsnyder · 36-40, M
Obviously I’d have a modest yacht too. @Zonuss
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Don't know if I could deal with the amount of poverty and gangs in Brazil.

What you show isn't the real Brazil. Go south of the Sugarloaf it's all slums.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@DeWayfarer that’s why I’ll never go to India. Too much suffering . When I was in Rio in 99 the police were at war w the favela gangs. Very violent time.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@AthrillatheHunt agree with there, yet include most of Southeast Asia.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@DeWayfarer theres tourist pockets like Bali (been there ) but in general it’s a no go .
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Poland, the country of my ancestors.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SunshineGirl A great and well organized country there. ☺
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F

About done with this place
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@GohantheThird most don't know what New Jerusalem is
th3r0n · 41-45, M
Revelation 21:1-7 KJV
[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. [4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. [5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. [6] And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. [7] He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@th3r0n Israel is gorgeous.
Kiesel · 56-60, M
New Zealand or Scotland
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Kiesel got a “thing” for sheep huh? Lol supposedly the closest thing to a human lady. That’s why sailors kept one on board .
danielsnyder · 36-40, M
How about North Dakota ?
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@froggtongue Yes. But it was colonized. So it is what it is now.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@deadinternet Republicans love Canada. Some of them anyway. Perhaps you should move there. ☺
@Zonuss I do live there
Elessar · 26-30, M
Portugal, Spain, Greece

Let's add also France (south coast)
Elessar · 26-30, M
@danielsnyder I can freely enter any of them anytime without passport, visas, border inspections or anything of the sort

So yeah, cope 🇪🇺🇪🇺

The only place other than Canada I would consider living would be Netherlands, Switzerland or Sweden
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Jenny1234 I lived in Switzerland for 4 years. It’s beautiful.

Greenland... Just so I could tell Vance to bugger off!
danielsnyder · 36-40, M
The content you produce confirms that. No offence intended. OF COURSE. @Convivial
Convivial · 26-30, F
@danielsnyder so, you're ok with your VP advocating invading another country just so you can posses it?
danielsnyder · 36-40, M
Not why he said. The current strategy is to show with facts why once Greenland is free of toothless Denmark and becomes deeply enmeshed with the US however that goal looks when it happens. It’s in Greenland’s best interest. We aren’t invading Panama, Mexica much less Canada Greenland. It’s all about common sense. Not being screwed financially and militarily re the canal we built and paid for and protected for decades. Undoing NAFTA and make safety work best for all the Americas staring with evicting China. @Convivial
Canadian Rockies .. in the summers. Somewhere else in winter.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@BrandNewMan Ok. Gotta love those Rockies.
SpudMuffin · 61-69, M
Cuba, apparently they don't extradite.
Zonuss · 46-50, M

Well, no, not for me. This country doesn't feel or resemble anything like home anymore. I won't miss what it's become at all. It used to be 🇺🇸. Now it's already becoming

In a 2010 interview, renowned political analyst and activist Noam Chomsky likened the political climate of the United States to that of the late Weimar Republic in Germany, right before Adolf Hitler became chancellor on January 30, 1933.

Chomsky said at that time in Germany there was “tremendous disillusionment with the parliamentary system.” The German people had lost faith in the traditional parties, leaving “a vacuum which the Nazis very cleverly” managed to fill.

The ground-breaking linguist went on to remark that the US “is extremely lucky that no honest, charismatic figure has arisen.” He outlined that if one did, the country would be in “real trouble,” due to the frustration and disillusionment amongst the populace.

According to Chomsky, if a leader like this arose, it could lead to a similar situation to when the Jews were denounced as the enemy of Nazi Germany. He foresaw in the States that “illegal immigrants and the blacks” would be labelled the nemesis and white males the “persecuted minority.”

The rise of a potential dictator
After the election of Donald Trump last November, Chomsky’s words seem prophetic. Although many dismissed Trump as a side-show, it must be remembered that people initially made the same mistake about Hitler.

This is no longer home as I grew up in.
And it certainly appears no one, no group of people want to stand up and do what it takes or has the balls to stop it. Too many are still enamored with the bullshit.
