What you find weird might be normal for me and what I find weird might be normal for you. A lot of what is normal here is certainly thought of as weird somewhere else. For instance it's perfectly normal here for women to be engineers and scientists here whereas in certain parts of the world it is regarded by many as a sin.
Why do you want to be normal? The world is full of normal people, lets celebrate our weirdness!
Just be you. If you are doing no harm and others find you weird is that a problem?

@being I don't think you necessarily need to be normal, you just need to briefly seem normal. You need to learn how to manipulate the people who control the cultural scene or whichever other community you might from time to time need support from. But I've never been able to do it, I can't read people properly and I don't want to put in the effort!
Just a little carefully directed conformity doesn't count as selling out your weird soul.

@ninalanyon I know that's why I spoke about self sabotaging.. now it's done. Just gave them One more reason. Maybe secretly I just don't want to be here any longer ?
It's emotionally too much this city for me and yet I love it

I have never felt normal. And very recently I decided to let it all go and it's been getting much weirder lol but I also kinda like it. But we shouldn't compare. What is weird to you? What is normal to you?
I'm feeling less like me than normal.

What used to be normal: you care about other people and try to always improve yourself. I'm not sure that's still normal though...

I've never really felt normal. Always felt out of place, like I don't really belong here.

@TryingtoLava thank you Lava. I'm truly weird most of the times. But now that I'm again looking back at the situation that happened and triggered this, oh well, the others have acted weird too !

Normal is subjective.
Are you slightly frustrated? Does a part of your body hurt at strange times?
That’s my normal

I feel the opposite of normal

Weird and I am not into being normal again.

Weird and normal are both such relative terms .. especially in odd times like these
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
Why not just have weird as your normal? It works for me
Yourwildestdreams · 51-55, M
Life’s weird in general 💁🏼♂😅

Normal is highly overrated
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@being That's a problem of course if it's a community that you want to be part of such as family and they find you too weird to accept. Perhaps you have to cultivate a sort of 'normalness' for when you are there.
