What are you hoping happens today?

Something will finally pop in my spine and the pain disappears. Or something like that. Either way, I want it to disappear.

I get a free plane ticket in the post to the Bahamas, a posh car picks me up with a free glass of champagne. When I get to the airport my Prince Charming is waiting for me and we disappear off into the sunset together.

This is what IS happening. Sitting at the tills in the local Oxfam Book and Music Shop, up with the vinyl, CD's and DVD's. A customer just rolled through, made comment on the CD I was playing, Forty Licks by the Stones. "The Last Time" was playing, I think he was either stoned himself or just pissed, couldn't understand a word he said. I just smiled, exchanged a few words, and now he has passed through, or on, or.......

Stay warm its a wood stove heater where i am.
