I hate being referred to as the old guy.

If you’re 56 you’re middle aged and if you’re 60 you’re upper middle aged/senior citizen.

I don't mind. My younger friends call me "Dad," "Wise One," "Old Man." One thing I had never been called happened in a meeting this week when our pastor called me a "Dream." He was talking about the way we work together. I would prefer being called "Dream" by a lovely lady.

Where, and by whom?

Nothing wrong with that.

I understand wanting to slow it down.

But. It is what it is.

Hear ya. I've got one whipper snapper at work who calls me grandpa. Everyone else who's my age has said "we're old" just cause I hurt myself having fun
