i don't keep up, i just look after my own little life.

I'd like to keep up, but there's too much going on and too much misinformation. You can't believe everything on face value, not can't research everything thoroughly. So I pick my topics to follow and ignore the rest.

Depends on the time of day. I try to keep up, but often I just want to curl up with a book and forget it all.

No. I stopped following news and politics. I don’t mind learning about what’s going on when it’s not someone screaming and belittling people about it and insisting everyone panic. Lotta that going on these days. That’s why I tune out. People don’t simply inform anymore.

I stopped watching the news ever since the new government came to power. My stomach can turn only so many times a day. So I try to keep up with what I consider the necessary and block out the rest.

I keep up with the news but I then have to put it in a box, accept there's not very much I can do about it and the be able to get on with living my life.

I read close to 100 stories a day from multiple news sources. I write about the tyranny being imposed upon humanity every day.

I like to follow a lil but i dont stay watching the news.

I kinda go back and forth between the two.

I study it, careful to see the good things happening as well as the bad, and be wary that there are agendas that shape perspectives so I try to see all sides.

But other times it’s better just to sit in the morning sun and listen to the birds sing.

I keep an eye out.

I keep up. But not so much with the politics. I am concerned with the money flows, since they determine what happens long term in spite of what short term political aims are.😷

I do but it's often frustrating trying to find actual news as opposed to opinion on any given story.

I'm only vaguely aware of it.
I have no control over it so knowledge doesn't of it won't change it.

What global situation?

Global situation is nonsense and heading for a catastrophe. I have prepared a new era for the world which i would be launching soon. At least the future can have a better life.

As if knowing both the history and the current situation were mandatory absolutely.

How many actually know or lived through the history and follow the dilemmas is a better question tho.

Because the current crop of decision makers don't seem like they care if they do know anything. Important facts that go back a thousand or two years leading up to what almost ended the frikin planet in 1940-45 and the only sane solution would ordinarily be important to the current dilemma.

Wondering if anyone has enough of a brain not to trip on those fragile wires.

I'd probably have less stress if I blocked it out, but I feel I should stay informed so I do.
