As if knowing both the history and the current situation were mandatory absolutely.
How many actually know or lived through the history and follow the dilemmas is a better question tho.
Because the current crop of decision makers don't seem like they care if they do know anything. Important facts that go back a thousand or two years leading up to what almost ended the frikin planet in 1940-45 and the only sane solution would ordinarily be important to the current dilemma.
Wondering if anyone has enough of a brain not to trip on those fragile wires.
