Some of those look interesting and fun.

@sstronaut Oh shoot, they limited your account. For how long?

@sstronaut awww I am sorry
deadgerbil · 22-25
Even the slotted can go with the rest
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
@deadgerbil Seriously! Worst screw head design ever!
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Zaphod42 It's only advantage is that it's easy to clean, and that you can tighten/loosen it with virtually everything (usually), even a coin or a key.

The Phillips is worse imo, it's only a matter of time before it gets f*cked and becomes impossible to unscrew, especially with like 90% of all the screws around being made of shìtty alloys that have the consistence of cheese.
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
@Elessar Yeah, being able to just use a butterknife on a flat head is about its only advantage. And back when I was a teen and the only real choices were flat or Philips, I’d use Philips, but I always wished they made torx head screws like the bolts on my Chevy Nova’s door used
Elessar · 26-30, M
I love that they've picked the worst two types of screw ever invented as the only acceptable ones

Whoever made this is screwed in the head, literally
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@Elessar Just think , you could ban Phillips screws, then I can make a fortune selling them to Americans as “Freedom Screws” 😂💰
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
I dunno…hex head screws are my favorites to use with a drill driver. They don’t get stripped nearly as easy, and generally stay on the driver bit pretty well 🤷‍♂️
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
And didn’t we used to call the six lobe one a Torx head? 🤔
@Zaphod42 You might like my comment.
@Zaphod42 That they did, I forgot about it being called torx.

I have a box of screwdrivers with 70 different heads.... What are u talking about? 🙂
pride49 · 31-35, M
I agree. I hate Phillips square 50 percent of the time the head strips.
shithole needs a deep cleanse.

caPnAhab · 26-30, M
Can I use a Phillips on a Pozidrive? Some of these just seem completely redundant...
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
How in the world did we get by without all of those for so long.
I wish all screws were hex or six lobe, maybe I would't strip so many heads trying to find the right size.
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
@NativePortlander1970 Tell me about! I have thrown away hundreds of stripped Phillips heads, and I think whoever came up with the flat head screw had his own special area in hell. But I switched to hex head about 10 years ago, and in all that time I’ve stripped one screw head, and even that wasn’t beyond use.
@Zaphod42 I learned the beauty of hex and six lobe when I was transferred to the milling department, from the warehouse, at a utility trailer factory back in 2011.
