Older family members always said you feel your old injuries in winter weather.

The ribs I broke in my twenties, the wrist I broke when I was 6 to the degree where I almost lost my left hand, the arm that was struck by a loose piece of hangar roof in high winds.

They were right. When it gets frosty now I feel them ache. It’s no bad thing, every ache has a story.

Yep. I broke my arm when I was 13, falling out of a tree. I've got a middle plate in it because it broke so close to the elbow. It aches slightly whenever there's an impending change in the weather.

Very useful tool.

@LordShadowfire you are a walking barometer, I hope the weather station uses you

@LordShadowfire That’s how I broke my wrist. I slipped, overbalanced, grabbed a branch to steady myself. It snapped and the next thing I know I’m face down in the grass.

@WintaTheAngle I was grabbing branches, and I think I must have hit my head on one, because there's a memory gap. Next thing I knew, I was on the ground and my arm hurt.
