Geez these scammers are getting good. One just pretended to be my Amazon Prime subscription!

When I get an email claiming to be from Amazon, I go to the site rather than respond to the email. There might actually be a notification there. But if the email was a scam, there will not be.

I got a text once saying I had to approve before someone could make a $700 purchase on my Amazon account and to call this number. I got on Amazon and there were no current or pending purchases, so I ignored it.

They can still apply for credit in your name and run up credit card bills
That will destroy your credit.

Call Equifax and inform them that there may be multiple requests for new credit cards. They will help you monitor your credit.

Also call your bank.

I get fishy texts from "amazon" everytime i order something. They are ignored.

Scamsters should be shot after being tortured. When one calls that is a person speaking your language, just keep saying "yes.".

I can tell the scammers because Amazon never writes to me except to tell me they have shipped my order, or my bill is due.
