That happens when I am so caught up in the day to day chores and tasks that I forget to simply just take time and relax and breathe. It is so much easier to smile or laugh when you are not worried about the next thing you have to do.
I won't let it Lady Bronte, not for long anyway. Some days its a struggle for sure, but there is still beauty in this world, and humor and kindness too. Sometimes you have to look for it. Don't let the sadness blind you.
Whats kind of weird is the most I ever laughed was when I was in jail. I think maybe it was because life got very simple in there and little things became a big deal. The bigger things you realized you were powerless to do anything about until you got out so they had to be be pushed aside.
It's constantly trying but fuck it I'll only live once and I'll laugh about everything including my worst problems. I totally get how you feel because I deal with disability and a lot of shit and physical pain for my age but I can try to laugh at little things here and there. I'm not miserable. I refuse to be.
when ever I am down, i find that there are some comedies, musical comedies, that I watch and get my spirits up, or I play my trombone or bang on a piano. That sometimes rejuvenates my spirit.
I hope you will find Reasons to Smile. As Pat Morgan, a DJ known as "The Banana Man" used to say, "SMILE, It Improves Your Face Value." I'm praying for you.
Like many things, it's a decision or group of decisions that determine your path and location. You are who you are and rigbt where you want to be, based ln decisions you have made.
@Sequoia51 Just my opinion, but when you make a decision, that ultimately turns out to be a devastating mistake, you are not right where you want to be. 🤷♀️
@LadyBronte where you are,what you're doing is all based on choices you made or had imposed on you, because of other choices you made. Where are you? Why are you there?
@Sequoia51 Not always. You can be happy with your choices but someone else's choice might royally f*ck up everything you thought you knew. So after that it's a question of what choices you can make to find some semblance of normalcy again, if you ever can. Often that is a long road back - regardless of making quality choices.
I have had a great day and it's really nice outside! :) Life hasn't robbed me of anything, but some types of people sure do try. I've smiled a lot and am quite satisfied with the day. I've accomplished lots of things and not all of it was work. lol
@LadyBronte Between life in general and my wife's health I just haven't smiled or laughed much lately, but I know God has it and everything will be alright in the end. 😊
