Yeah, it's a constant challenge for me too, that's why I try to not have foods that are too tempting around. It's easier like that.
But absolutely hate when I feel anxious...
It's really a love hate relationship with food 😕
But the best thing you can do is continue with healthy, balanced habits, like not too little not too much not anything too extreme where you starve yourself. It's worse.

Honestly? I'm the same way. Start your diet and get back to normal. No point shitting on yourself about it.

@SW-User thank you for saying that

@DeluxedEdition No problem. Just remember that all the energy you put into hating your choices, could have gone to fixing them.

Umm, stop it!
You can't go STOPPING completely ya know, but just put longer times between any food intake.
Zero snacks except barely salted popcorn if you have a "crunch" addiction like me.
Rice Cakes,
Meals: Serve up whatever your normal portion would be, THEN scrap 1/3rds - 1/2 - 2/3rds into the Garbage.
Seriously! [It's GONE, you can't change you mind and eat it now!]
Salads: Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and assorted veggies you can put with them are mostly water, low in calories, very filling and decent with a low cal raspberry vinaigrette, greek yogurt dressing or balsamic vinaigrette [my 3 favorites]
Drink all the zero calorie soda or flavored waters you like, especially a full glass before a meal and one after.
Ice is Zero Calorie and it crunches! Sugar free Freeze Pops are cheap and you can eat 10 if you like!

@Valerian I did drop 10lbs in a week by following a strict diet my doctor insisted upon.
I take Lasic, the diuretic, so he doubled my dose. Also to eat salad, veggies, fish or chicken, no processed snacks with flour or and lots of liquids, mostly water. I actually dropped 13 at one point, but screwed it by eating salty fatty gumbo with rice and Texas toast,.

Some time ago, I saw some girl here being mean to you because of your body. I don't know how that stuff affects you. It's better not to blame yourself like this and put yourself under pressure. It affects your mental health.
15 pounds is not that much. You can always go on a diet and lose that weight if you're not happy with your body.

@LookingForTheSummer I don’t talk about it that much (specifically bc of people like her) but when I was in high school I struggled with an eating disorder. I almost died twice because of it. I got so skinny you could see the bones in my neck and I genuinely thought I was overweight. I was psychiatrically evaluated and prescribed anxiety meds for my ED back in 2019
To this day I have issues with my weight. I would like to be healthy and maintain a healthy weight. But I don’t weigh myself out of fear of relapsing. I have issues with sizing of clothing out of fear of relapsing
I had been eating very unhealthy lately. I knew I had gained weight. I went on a diet recently bc I knew I needed to weigh myself soon. So for me when I stepped on the scale and saw that 15 pound jump it was very triggering

@DeluxedEdition I'm sorry to hear that. One time, when she complained about people being harsh to her, I told her that she's basically the same and she's unnecessarily mean to other people.
It sucks. They don't know what other people are going through, but they still talk shit about them just to make themselves feel better.
I don't think you're in bad shape or that 15 pounds gain is that much. I hope you find a healthy way to deal with it and also, take it easier on yourself. 🙂

@DeluxedEdition I am sorry she did that to you. I remember standing up for you. I did for another woman too. The BS excuse of her being allowed her opinion is ridiculous.
@LookingForTheSummer she asked what people thought of her and I explained her behaviour. I ended up blocking her because I just couldn’t stand to see it anymore.

Oh nothing wrong with gaining a few pounds! I’d still love you unconditionally! 🙂

We all have setbacks but its how we bounce back that shows who we really are. If you want to lose that weight agaij, i know you can do it. Start small and build up. Replace those bad habits with good ones. Easier said than done. But have confidence in yourself. You can do it 👍

from the comments you would think all these ppl are fitness trainers 🙄 you should get into a better headspace before thinking of the technicalities, you should remind yourself of how powerful you are
PhoenixPhail · M
It's so easy to do. Please don't beat yourself up for it.
You're still young. You should be able to work that off, easily.
Have you gotten to the bottom of the your emotions to know what to work on?

It happens. You've acknowledged it. Dont do anything drastic.

Oh, I know how you feel. And you've had experience that sometimes people gain and sometimes they lose. I think we're all in this together. For me, that's kind of a relief to know.

I need to get back on it too. I gained 8 pounds from my steroid injections. I need to start using MyFitnessPal again. It helps tracking what I eat.
