I care. 19 children dead. Never had a chance. Innocent and not one word from the governor or the attorney general that there is an issue. Some say guns don't kill. And they don't when handled by sane people and kept secure. I just think more should be required than an ID.

@kentex35 there is more required to obtain an ar15 legally, it's called a background check and firearm permit

@wildbill83 and guns get stolen. And people snap. And it's impossible to know who is going to snap. The guy in Connecticut, his mother bought those guns and he killed her before going to the school. I don't want control or be controlled. There's got to be a reasonable place we can meet that is good for the enthusiast and the rest. And we know there are ways around the waiting period and background checks. My youngest went to a gun show proved he was eighteen came home with a Thompson. Same day violin case and all. Well maybe it was a cello case. I loved the gun nearest thing since Edward G Robinson gangster movies. I hope to learn something good here. Something we can live with comfortably.

@kentex35 and as I've mentioned dozens of times over, there's the gigantic obvious elephant in the room....

20-30 years ago, mass shootings were practically non existent; what changed between then and now? It certainly wasn't guns... as they were more easily and widely accessible back then, less restricted, cheaper, etc.

So it's a rather ignorant excuse to blame lack of gun laws... if anything, all the anti-gun rhetoric has caused the opposite effect...

yes... lets pass more laws while the democrats pride themselves on ignoring the laws we already have... that'll show those evil nazi conservatives.... 🤦‍♂️

It happens regularly enough and almost nothing is done about it. If i didnt know any better id say mass shootings were the national pass time.

@wildbill83 Get real, thats why we have police to protect.

@wildbill83 that's a good one wonder if the sheep ever thought about organizing and doing background checks. No fangs for the rabid wolves. Maybe if they stick together they will overwhelm the problem.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@Justenjoyit ask the aussies how that's working out...
Crime happens regularly just like the war in Ukraine.
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
@Spoiledbrat But with crime the government is there to change things.

The US is disgusting.

@Justenjoyit I spent some time in America and I have to say it's a beautiful country with peaceful, friendly and helpful people. Really liked the country and the people.
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
@helenS I have been their twice and as you say the people are friendly and helpful I liked it there too, its just very sad to read about of all the killings of innocent people.
kentex35 · 100+, M
@Human1000 is it safer where you live? I've been around the world and I'm still happy here in the US. I have more options here than most places I've visited . If your world is perfect and I don't have to be dead to be in it I'll join you

the shitshow never ends.... 🤦‍♂️

in another week, all these people screaming about wanting the government to fix things and/or how only cops should have guns...

will be complaining about government tyranny/abuses and corrupt cops that need to be defunded...
