what do you think of companies that use actors and models for their recruitment campaigns?

To me they feel like fake and deceitful, why would you need other people to look cool?

But then again... If they use their own people and they leave, they are still the face of a company they don't represent anymore....

I ignore most advertising because of this

I am in Art school and we had a visit from BBC. They were doing exactly what you described. College thought it was great. No way was it.

all it really shows is the must be desperate for business and money too burn on actors to get it [tracos]

I overlook most advertising. Sometimes I do enjoy seeing a familiar face on a commercial. But the worst of the worst has to be multi-millionaire Tom Selleck enticing people to surrender their homes through a reverse mortgage. If he wants to be more credible, let's see him surrender one of his homes by paying a lump sum when he leaves it.

Their products is no good.

Their selling two things: a lifestyle and a product. It's not just about the product.

You could use Corner Street Herman but he won't have the appeal to the masses as Pierce Brosnan or Brad Pitt.

@Longpatrol they are hiring people...

Same thing applies, but this is encouraging people to share their future with the company

The BBC came to our college and signed uploads. Why?
