I feel this throughout my being lol Humor is definitely my coping mechanism. It’s been brought to my attention on many occasions. Only once did I crack a joke and someone pointed out my deflective humor might possibly be a problematic thing,
to which I replied, “Perhaps, but notice how you’re still laughing?” 😝 @MoonlightLullaby

@WhateverWorks I've had people do me the same way when I turn my many inadequacies into clever little puns to make them laugh. I think laughter is the best coping mechanism ever, and not only that, there are so many things screwed up with my body...why not make fun of them? It sure beats throwing a pity party.😏
...and besides, if you always act like you're pitiful, you'll be judged for that too. Pfft, people.😜

I've never posted my dark poetry here, but my one about surrendeing to be evil synergy of nothingness proved that theory true. Light was at the end of that dark tunnel. I haven't written anything in nearly a year and haven't been involved with my writing family in nearly that same amount of time. My muse is dead.😶

I've never been attracted to the materialistic things of this world, but I've definitely lost focus of the simplicity I was surrounded by for many years because I chose to be bitter with my stolen dreams and a life that I let define me. I had to let go of the latter and find out I was so much MORE.💞
