Just to find the light in life?

It isn't pretty or fun by any means, and can be quite terrifying, but I've learned more about myself and found a greater appreciation for life from times of darkness than any amount of light ever offered.

It's when we are tested that we learn what is of value and importance in the world rather than the material crap we are tempted to chase all the time.

@dancingtongue Yes, you're very much correct. I've never been attracted to the materialistic things of this world, but I've definitely lost focus of the simplicity I was surrounded by for many years because I chose to be bitter with my stolen dreams and a life that I let define me. I had to let go of the latter and find out I was so much MORE.💞
