What memory instantly makes you smile?

That time when I was in junior high and got invited by my friend’s church to go on a trip to Six Flags Amusement Park in Arlington, TX. We were on the church bus going home and the bus driver said he was stopping at a gas station in Grapevine to fill up & if wanted to buy snacks or use the bathroom that was the time to do it because he wasn’t going to stop again. I used the bathroom and then went into the gas station and bought a soft drink for later and a pickled beef sausage. Went back & got inside the bus and sat down, nobody else was back yet. Ate the pickled sausage and had the wrapper with the juice inside, no trash can inside the bus so I reached outside through the window to pour the juice out. I hear a man’ s once yelling “”Hey, Hey” and looked down. It was the gas station attendant putting air in the tires. I had dumped the juice on him apparently.

Seeing my girlfriend/future wife come down the dorm stairs for our date when I hadn't seen her in weeks.

SO many really great memories! But I still smile at the memory of my beautiful little son, dressed in his tuxedo and cumberbund at my third wedding. He was so adorable!

His grandfather had taught him to ask all the older ladies to dance, and this tiny boy walked up to our elderly neighbor, and bowed, and said, "May I have this dance?"
