My opinion as a cis-gendered person may not mean much, but I always felt that the word "trans" implied that it is a process of transition. Getting used to the clothes and makeup is one thing, but also getting used to the reactions and feeling comfortable in your own skin is another.

Studies from detransitioners show that the most common reason they chose to detransition was due to the reactions they got from others. For them it wasn't about their identity, but about how they were treated and perceived by others. You wouldn't be alone for thinking the way you do.

But another alternative may be to move to a place that is more accepting of transpeople. Have you considered relocating somewhere else and building a new life there? Where I live, trans people are much more accepted and it's pretty common to see them out and about. From what I've seen, nobody seems to pay them any mind.

Going out in public dressed as a girl can be challenging especially if you don’t fully pass as a woman. That does present challenges in life. So much easier not to. Isn’t it a shame we just can’t be ourselves

@Steffanie lot sof people hav emuch worse life problems, i nowadays wear unisex vlothes whenim out, like sweats, pink obvously, but no dresses, etc,i still have bra and pantie son underneath, and ive cut my hair short, and wear a baseball cap often

@kittee yes there are a lot worse, so why make life even more difficult. I to wear unisex, and wear feminine underwear daily. Just the small things that feel good.

Think it's something that requires alot of consideration. I personally can't know what you are dealing with or how it's affecting you. If it will makes your life better then go for it. If this is just you being at a low point then maybe sleep on it for a bit.

@Jessmari thank you, but ive been thinking aobut ti for awlong time

You do what you feel in your heart is best for you. You can't be who you're not just because of the ignorance of others.

I think it's not up to me. If it were, I would do what's easiest, so long as you're comfortable.

You should go with what makes you comfortable out in public, my opinion.

Your outer shell doesn't matter as much as people make it matter anyways. You're you on the inside regardless of what you look like on the outside
kittee · 22-25
@Nebula yes but i think i got into it like a fashion instead of thinkingit through, im older now and i see things different
popmol · 26-30, M
you'd be more invisible i guess but wouldn't that go against your identity?
kittee · 22-25
@popmol maybe, but i thini was just showingoff
popmol · 26-30, M

kittee · 22-25
