I'm sorry if you want to teach kids. Alternative views have your own kids, but don't interfere with other people.Bringing up their kids the way they want to. One of my friends, he's loud and proud. Says he's made a personal decision. And it is an adult decision. He starts to want to get violent when he hears about alternatives of lifestyle, people interfering with kids or even interacting with kids.

@dale74 In other words, you don't want your children to know that we exist.

@dale74 It's not an "adult" decision to become violent when you hear about people educating kids that queer folk exist.
Cross gender people don't do this for fun, they do it because they identify with it. It is a part of them. People think they are strange and largely ignore them, so I think it is a good thing for them to be out there, unafraid, and showing kids it is OK to choose what you want to be.
It won't make a boy or girl anything else, but if a kid is on the fence about it, this may be good for them to see.

Its just a person reading a book. People act like they are performing sex acts in public or something. Children need to know that people in the world are from all walks of life and have different lifestyles. And that Its okay to be different. Everyone deserves respect. You don't have to agree with it but they do deserve respect as does every human being.

Highly inappropriate and hopefully banned in most places. I know it's been in several already and just wish that continues.
Free will lets one do as they wish but children don't need to be involved in that.

Midnightmagic how would you felling having the drag queens teaching your children at the library? Just very curious about your answer?

Anybody who finds it weird is listening to the wrong stories and the wrong sources.
Were there a couple of bad actors volunteering? Naturally. Those people try to get close to kids at every opportunity. But for the most part, those story hours were 100% wholesome, and no different than any other costumed storyteller volunteering at the library.

Honestly, your children are more likely to be molested by someone who you already know and trust than they are by some random drag queen reading books in a library.
The simple reason for that is because no one ever suspects the "nice guy" - or the "outcast".
Anyone looking to molest children will be wanting to spend time alone with them in a secluded place... that means away from potential witnesses like the public and other children who might "tell". Uncle Gary is far more likely to get that than the local drag queen.

I don’t judge. Nobody is being forced to watch it. They have free choice.
