How do you feel about drag queen story hour after all these years?

Do you think it’s acceptable or inappropriate and why? I find it a little odd and there were a couple of cases of sex offenders volunteering at the library. Uh background checking anyone? On the other hand, this might get kids used to gender variance and non conformity. I have mixed feelings.

Honestly, your children are more likely to be molested by someone who you already know and trust than they are by some random drag queen reading books in a library.

The simple reason for that is because no one ever suspects the "nice guy" - or the "outcast".

Anyone looking to molest children will be wanting to spend time alone with them in a secluded place... that means away from potential witnesses like the public and other children who might "tell". Uncle Gary is far more likely to get that than the local drag queen.
