Live and let live. If other peoples lifestyles don’t actually effect you in any meaningful way, I don’t think you should have a say on it.

@WowwGirl oh, the one that explicitly states that gender non-conformity is not a mental disorder? Then what's your point?
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@SarahAndSamantha you need to read it again dear.

@WowwGirl Sure thing, antelope.....
According to the DSM-5, "gender non-conformity" is not considered a mental disorder; the diagnosis for individuals experiencing significant distress related to a mismatch between their assigned sex and gender identity is called "gender dysphoria" which is only diagnosed when there is clinically significant distress or impairment associated with this incongruence.
Distinction from gender non-conformity:
The DSM-5 explicitly states that simply expressing gender differently than societal expectations (gender non-conformity) does not constitute a mental disorder.
Diagnosis criteria:
To be diagnosed with gender dysphoria, an individual must experience significant distress or impairment in their life due to a marked incongruence between their experienced gender and assigned sex at birth.
Now, notice I didn't say that gender dysphoria isn't a mental disorder. It is. I specifically said gender non-conformity isn't. Now, let's see what the DSM-5 says about treatment for gender dysphoria....
Psychological treatments
Individual therapy: Helps patients understand and deal with gender issues
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT): Helps patients address negative thoughts and beliefs about their gender
Family, group, and marital therapy: Helps patients feel supported and build a safe environment
Behavioral health therapy: Helps patients explore gender concerns and feel comfortable with their gender identity
Speech and language therapy: Helps patients sound more typical of their gender identity
Medical treatments
Hormone therapy: Can include estrogen and testosterone
Pubertal suppression: Can be used for adolescents
Surgical reassignment surgery (SRS): Can be appropriate for selected patients
Electrolysis, laser hair removal, chest surgery, breast surgery: Can be used as part of physical transition
right there. says the best treatment for gender dysphoria is....drumroll please......transitioning. Why are you so against us getting the currently best recommended treatment, Chuck?

@WowwGirl oh, TL;DR? Sorry. DSM 5 can be wordy. gender non-conformity is not a mental illness. gender dysphoria still is, I grant you that. According to the DSM 5, the best treatment for gender dysphoria is transitioning. So why are you so against us getting the best treatment?
