Caitlin Jenner, a trans woman, is a bastion of reason amidst the current trans chaos permeating the news. She says the following:

( Paraphrased): The protesters who are SO loud and violent and scary are the Rainbow Mafia. They are worse than BLM, and are basically Domestic Terrorists. The real trans community is nothing like that. Most of us are quiet and just go about living our lives, without bothering anyone. These terrorists are doing ALL of the regular trans people a GREAT DISSERVICE.

I agree the extremists are doing a tremendous disservice to the majority of trans people. But the radical political left beginning with the president act as if as these acts of violence and chaos as perfectly acceptable. And that inspires more radical actions. No different than democratically controlled cities decriminalizing crime.

@carpediem I think there is an argument there for which group is doing the trans people e GREATER disservice.

im a trans woman who just minds her own damn business
4meAndyou · F
@scabs My understanding is that most trans people DO mind their own business.

"Rainbow mafia" in mainstream media is shoving down our throats a narrative that trans are the majority, yet we have to cater to their every need to fit in in society. Take Nike making a man wear a spots bra. Or Hershey's casting a male model for women's day for f*cks sake!

I just find it all strange that kids just HAVE to know that they exist, as though they'll never know just by living life? How many here had to have trans people come to your School and teach you about transgenderism just so you knew they exist?
4meAndyou · F
Personally, I don't think children need these sorts of things forced upon them...but that doesn't really address the main issue of this post...which is that only SOME trans people have joined the rainbow mafia and have become violent.

IMO the news media are deliberately emphasizing the violence...and I believe we are ALL being manipulated to gang up on trans people. Something that people who just want to live and let live would never do.

There are a few voices which are like a mouse with a megaphone. They are mainly men and they are misogynists who hate women and want to cause harm to women. As Jenna says most trans women are those who just wanna get on with their lives
Heartlander · 80-89, M
The handful that are getting all the attention are being nudged by the media.

As always, the role of the US media isn't to report the news or bring us together but to create the news and ignite food fights.

After watching the ladies' Final Four, I seriously doubt that very many or any of the loud transgender voices could make it on a US college women's basketball team :)

But for those guys that do want t play against the ladies, ladies' college basketball teams use male practice teams, and those male team members enjoy special recognition for their contribution.

I agree.
Most people wish to live quiet humble lives as they can freely.
Unfortunately people need money and to feel important so this is why you have the Domestic Terrorists
Raaii · 22-25, F
I think it fits the topic here, have you heard the Chris Tyson guy from mr beasts videos , he's a lot in news I see
. .. what's your view on him?
4meAndyou · F
@Raaii Unfortunately, I had never heard of him till you mentioned him.
Raaii · 22-25, F
@4meAndyou I've not too before much but yesterday I saw just so many channels covering him on big social media platforms just in short from what I know: he's an internet influencer working with a big youtuber mr beast and was married at 22 , it was love marriage and he had two kids too then last year he and his wife got divorced and now at 26 he's on hormones so he's transitioning slowly and his story is attracting crowds reactions on internet 🙇‍♀️

The trans girls I have talked to on here has been awesome very nice to me
Strict4u · 56-60, M
@4meAndyou I agree trans people are living their lives and I find them to be easier to talk to and less judgmental
4meAndyou · F
@Strict4u There are many trans people here on SW who are absolutely awesome. To go through what they have been through, and come out the other side in such good shape, mentally, bespeaks towering strength...and well earned empathy.
Strict4u · 56-60, M
@4meAndyou I agree they are very strong people and very sweet to talk to
MarineBob · 56-60, M
But we will judge all by the actions of a few
4meAndyou · F
@MarineBob Perhaps we should NOT. That's why I am posting this.
DDonde · 31-35, M
I have no idea who she's talking about
4meAndyou · F
@DDonde Recently there have been horrifyingly violent protests by trans people. Most recently was a speech given by the team mate of Lia Thomas, whose name is Riley. She was allowed to speak at the college quite peacefully, but afterward she was attacked, and struck several times by a man wearing a dress. The screaming and screeching we heard was like something from a madhouse. THOSE are the rainbow mafia.

@4meAndyou
Recently there have been horrifyingly violent protests by trans people.
Which ones? Where? This is the first time I've heard anything about this.
