Democrat Patrick Wojahn resigned from his role as the mayor of College Park, Md., on Wednesday, shortly before he was arrested on 40 counts of possession of child pornography and 16 counts of distributing child pornography.
A Virginia Democratic official is accused of distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), according to federal court records. Randon Sprinkle is accused of sending CSAM to the agent and of making a statement, expressing an interest in child sex abuse, per court records. On Oct. 16, the FBI Richmond executed a federal search warrant at Sprinkle’s Richmond home, leading to three electronic devices being seized. The FBI affidavit confirms that 68 files were extracted during a sweep of Sprinkle’s iPhone and laptop. This included 42 unique files containing CSAM on his iPhone and laptop — 29 unique images and 13 unique videos — with some of the files containing toddlers.
The United States Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Florida, arrested Matthew Inman, 39, and charged him with transportation of child sex abuse material. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Inman is accused of receiving and saving videos of child sexual abuse material to his phone depicting adults sexually assaulting young children. Inman served as treasurer for the Orange County Democratic Party and as president of the LGBTQ activist group Rainbow Democrats.
