Why do some people turn into nasty trolls when we correct their grammar or spelling?

I've corrected grammar lots of times and that doesn't make me a troll.

It doesn’t bother me I know I can’t spell and that I have shit grammar. But comeing on sites like this where people up you up on my mistakes helps me out so all I can say is thank you for your help

I do not mind being corrected for grammar. I became used to it at a young age as my mother was an English teacher and corrected us often growing up.

People barely use punctuations online, and you expect them to use perfect grammar.

I can spell and use proper grammar but I'm terrible at typing and I don't proofread.

They probably felt embarrassed.
