Do random words ever pop into your mind?

Just a few minutes ago the word "augment" randomly entered my mind.

Not just random words, but random sounds and images, too.

The truth is that I have what is called synesthesia specifically visual/auditory synesthesia.

It's where my senses are cross-linked in a way that when I listen to music, my mind interprets the beats, melodies and lyrics and so-on as an array of colors, words and pictures.

And even when I'm not listening to music, I sometimes have moments where lyrics from songs play in my head on an endless loop.

Sometimes they do .

As I thought about responding to you, the word "virulent" came to mind seemingly at random. And the reason has nothing to do with the actual meaning of the word. Rather, I found myself fascinated by its pronunciation: the way we move from "r" to a "you" sound.
Just this morning I was wondering if anyone learning English pronounced knock as kay-noc or keh- noc.
I still want to say Deh-jango Unchained instead of Jango Unchained.
