Is the Birmingham accent known for going upwards at the end of the sentence and if yes, is it the only English one that does it?

'Phonetic' is not. 'Abbreviation' is 12 letters.‘Thesaurus' doesn't have a synonym. 'Monosyllabic' has five syllables. Say what you will about English, but it has a sense of humor.
