No… it’s my third language…

I’m fluent in Persian, Kurdish and English and can use a bit of French and Italian…

I have two first languages - my Dad would talk to me in English and my Mum in Cantonese 🙂. I also speak Mandarin and Wu fluently and enough French to get by on 🙂🐼🥢

Yup. I took German in college and it went ok but I suck at studying so I'd be helpless if I went to Germany

Yes, but I also know Spanish. Not enough to be fluent, but enough to carry a conversation most of the time.

English, a little German and I grew up with Scottish Gaelic.

I speak English and I can stammer in Spanish.

It say English is my first language. Yet I grew up in multi lingual family. Mom spoke three my father spoke seven.

I'm only fluent in one, despite knowing two others.

At the last part of her life I had to interpret for mom because she often confused her three languages.

I still don't consider myself fluent in any of them other than English.
