As it’s lunch time and I’m off to the pub, here’s some pub chalk board humour

A bit more:

Our local convenience store now delivers already placed my order.. it's booze and cigars.

@MarineBob I prefer to be in a pub. A different environment where you can talk to strangers over an ale next to an old forge fire.

I've no photos of it but the Quicksilver Mail, in Yeovil, has a similar board claiming something like:

"Warm Beer, Grumpy Landlord. Don't believe it? Come in and find out!"

While another pub I know has its toilets in the two far corners of a long bar room; and a large sign on the wall between them gives these directions:
Men to the left, women to the right - because women are always right.
......

Two free-house pubs with their own, traditionally rumbustious attitude shared by staff and regulars alike, to portable ' phones:

The Hunters' Lodge Inn near Wells used to have a large board with about a dozen old phones nailed through to it, and held aloft by the landlord to everyone's delight if some unsuspecting visitor's talking-block rang out.

The Tan Hill Inn, high in the Pennine Hills, displayed its equivalent phones in vinegar in a big pickle-jar.

No giant TV screens and piped "music" in these places either! Hooray!

That last one is hilarious, but where did the toaster come from. (And don’t say Tesco’s.)
.. the problem with having an open mind is there’s no shortage people trying to fill it their crap.
@WintaTheAngle: Good one; thanks.
