I use my desk top computer here, maybe try a laptop or tablet. Heck my cell is just a phonebook and camera to me. But to each their own poison I say, and I have no advice to give you.

Read a book you’re old enough to remember what it was like before smart phones.

Break the trigger habit with a substitute activity - or just skip repetitive checking, say to yourself, oh I can look at it in 20 minutes without missing anything...

You could buy a time lock, then just lock up your phone for a few hours a day

Nah.

Take a hammer, and smash your phone into thousands of tiny pieces.

Then make something cool using the hammer.

Turn the phone off and put it in a drawer
