Do You hide your dark side from Others ?

I'd have to say yes, at first. It's only revealed after some trust is gained.

Not if they bring it out of me.

Yes, no point in showing. If I were open about the ugly in me those like me might take it as encouragement to be open about it as well. And heck, I don't want people to be like the ugly side of me. There's nothing good or useful about it.

I don’t have a dark side or maybe I don’t know what it is. But I definitely don’t open up to people very well unless Ive known them a long time and know I can trust them. Ive trusted too many people in my life who have just fucked me over

I do compartmentalism different parts of my mind and only share certain parts with certain people. I think most people do this. As well

I do. Quite a few people would be surprised to learn of my gloryhole activities. That's strictly on a need-to-know basis.

I totally do. I am a sexual deviant and have been all my life that I can remember. I have broken so many sexual laws and taboos. Many of which would have seen me in jail if I had been caught, or at least ruined my career.

Only my best friend has a hint of what I used to do and knows nothing about the chain of victims I have.

I do definitely self censor around some people. It is not anything particularly dark or bad but just some stuff I am into doesn't conform to social norms and I just don't want that conversation.

I do conceal my dark side to those who are judgemental. I prefer to be able to be open about it and to be vulnerable with those who understand or at least won't judge me.

I do. I'm a career public servant, family man and generally regarded as a shrinking violet, but I'm privately the intellectual enemy of mankind.

Yes. When PTSD comes to town it pretty ugly . My hubby is really good at keeping me safe and secluded .

The only thing I hide is that I am a cross dresser from those that know me in real life.

I'm never sure if I can trust others, so I sometimes hide things that might be used by others to hurt me.

I used to but i told a family once because i wanted to be honest and then she discriminated against me.. but thats life i guess.. I'm no longer that way.. i thought about telling one the lady's daughters to tell her I'm not like that anymore.. but i don't want to bother them with my nonsense.. sigh 😳

It depends .. I don't want to bother people, respect people that don't care.

It's not worth the energy to hide your essence, because it eventually makes its way out
Plus, you sort through people much quicker...as far as, who truly wants to be around you

most of my dark side will only be shared with people i have built trust with usually we have to have something in common not for general public

i know others would say it was dark.. but I dont feel bad about these things

I don’t hide that side of somebody brings it out of me whether it’s a good dark or bad dark.
