Could you live in a tiny house on wheels?

I think I could. Hopefully with a very small acreage that is paid off. I think the savings on the maintenance, insurance and utilities would be great. The one worry I’d have is going somewhere, vacation etc and coming home to find that the tiny house had been stolen with everything I own, including documents etc inside. It has happened at least once to someone a few years ago.

Yes, I could. I'd choose van life over an RV, for that though - more convenience in driving, parking, parts and repair availability, and for the simple fact it looks more like a daily drive than a home on wheels.
If it is connected to water/sewer/electricity, has kitchen, shower and a nice bed then sure. If it is really small would be a good excuse to get me out of the house more.
When you fill it up, buy a second one to store stuff in or make a home office out of it.

Many years ago, I travelled Europe and Ireland and Scotland for 8 months in a VW kombi. It was great, but I wouldn't do it again.
specman · 51-55, MVIP
Yes I lived in about a 26 ft. Travel trailer for 4 or 5 years.

@specman mine was a graduation present. I just moved in this month
Contemplating giving it a 1-2 yr trial .. live as a nomad and see how it goes. Can always go back to a permanent situation if it doesn"t suit me.
Catlady2025 · 18-21, FNew
@BrandNewMan downsizing all your stuff is the worst

There's all these videos about people who seem proud of living in basically a shack.

How did the dream go from having a big house to living in a tiny space? I see some of these videos and suddenly my humble home feels like a mansion.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
Yes and I have
BillyMack · 46-50, M

I did ages ago i live in a tiny house without wheels now
for a little while, any way
I could. Rather not. But, sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do.
katydidnt · 61-69, F
Yeah, but I'd probably just wear shoes.
I drive for a living. A tiny house would probably be triple the size of where I spend most of my time
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
If not for being disabled. I don't really need much, but I do need wheelchair space
Matt85 · 36-40, M

Catlady2025 · 18-21, FNew
@Pretzel I live in one with my two daughters. I can't wait for fall to get here just for those cool nights
Mudkip · 31-35, M
Sure, cozy is nice
Yes , why not, if it has all of the utilities
Rambler · 61-69, M
At this point, probably not
Catlady2025 · 18-21, FNew
@Rambler you can get one without a loft
Rambler · 61-69, M
@Catlady2025 that would help. If it had some windows
