Everybody has a story like this, I have some, and I've heard many. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I mean, unless it's somehow damaging the house, I don't see the problem 🤷

No.
But he could live in a far dirtier fashion than he can rent/lease, because the latter presume "fitness for use"...
So a person can choose to have no handrail along the steps in their home, but they can't legally rent a home with no handrail (in most jurisdictions).

Goodness gracious tell me you are at least wearing my engagement ring and you didn't toss it amidst the clutter....?
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
As long as your place doesn't stink, and there are no rodents scampering around, you should be fine.
bookerdana · M

Not everyone is a perfect housekeeper.

If your apartment is completely unlivable, then yes.
assemblingaknob · 31-35, F
@Rose0415 no. I just have one room and it's got books EVERYWHERE and papers scattered and basically it's not organised bcz when I pile up my books, the next hour I need all of them open in front of me....same with my jacket and my scarf...so everything is on the bed and on the study table.
assemblingaknob · 31-35, F
@Rose0415 but I keep the shared spaces organised. I clean up the whole kitchen and the stove and the counters right after I cook, and nothing is left on the counters. And the pots go back in my drawer.

@Lilnonames should I still apologise to him? I have an exam next week. He looked horrified and in complete shock when he looked in
Lilnonames · F
@assemblingaknob you can, but did he just walk in, if so that's illegal.
assemblingaknob · 31-35, F
