@Matt85 : Not a "numpty" I just don't celebrate it anymore, my son has grown out of Easter Egg Hunts. 🤷‍♂️

@jshm2 : You are correct, I am no longer a Christian, but I still believe in God.

I’m not doing anything traditionally ‘Easter’ but I will be smoking a brisket and making mac’n’cheese on Saturday for my daughter’s birthday. (She will be 23 on Sunday)
I’ve invited the family to join us for an early dinner, and then my girl will stay the night here with me and we will watch some old movies

(I also am not what you would call a Christian, but I do believe in God and in living life according to those basic morals and values.)

Don't celebrate Easter / atheist not sure -will be a normal Sunday. I like to listen to regee or jazz on Sunday mornings. That my only tradition but that is for all Sundays.

I am working at the office today. Totally get blindsided by their good Friday everytime. Normally I would already be too busy to even get on here to type but things are quiet at the office today.

@calicuz hah! have 2 meetings in the morning, one at noon and got a small proposal out the door this morning. but quiet in the afternoon after say 1 pm

I miss my grandmother very much too.
We'd be celebrating Easter together, I don't remember it that far back and we were forbidden technically, then, but still, people found a way to honour traditions.

Will probably be a fend for yourself night considering three of us will be working long shifts that day. But there’s a ham on tap for Monday…maybe. Could just as easily be pizza depending on my level of get’er done.

Yeah, wait to see how you're feeling on Monday and then decide. If you're too tired, or just not feeling it, go with the Pizza. Both are good options though.

We are having a very simple baked ham, potato dauphinois and roasted asparagus and green beans doused in chermoula. Followed by meringue nests filled with cream and mini Easter eggs.
