We have become so absorbed in the 280 character blurb that we have lost a lot of sense of storytelling, finding deeper meanings, and illustrative expressions. That makes me sad.
Have we truly lost that ability to read deeper and gain more understanding?
Yes, this is what social media seems to have become in large part. And turning things into a shallow joke or for vapid entertainment. I think it stifles the brain and the thinking process. Have we truly lost that ability to read deeper and gain more understanding?
This reminded me of this..

I had that moment of finding everything absurd one year Christmas shopping. Watching all the people scramble for things all of a sudden seemed absurd to me, all this fretting and feeling of importance seemed silly to me, I actually laughed out loud. All human endeavour seemed silly to me compared the the vastness of the universe. It was a weird moment.

But is it absurd, to the individual? Answer that, if you can.

@Amyrakunejo I don't think it is. Which honestly, is sad to me. We aren't made to be serious about everything we do. Life requires whimsy and absurdity.

@FoxyQueen Then you understand, the importance of nonconformity.
