*Did anyone here ever go to a therapist before, and how did it go?

I went this month for the first time it actually wasnt as bad as i thought it would be it was actually kinda nice

He said one really helpful thing, but then I filled in a form and the score I got wasn't high enough - meaning my life wasn't being seriously impacted - so I wasn't eligible for further sessions.

I've had sessions with a few therapists and although I'm glad it helps people it did next to nothing for me. It was a waste of time, energy, and money.

Had some I hated and met some I liked. My professor has been my best therapist lol I'm looking into getting a therapist again because I can't rely on my prof all the time. If you are thinking of trying it never hurts! You may leave annoyed because they weren't what you needed but there are always more therapists out there. We all need different things from therapist so it may take a few times, or if you are lucky enough you will get one you like right away.

It was fine. I didn't try very hard, if I'm honest. Either therapy isn't for me or it wasn't the right time.

Some of them were not helpful at all, some of them were well worth the money.

Its fine. Its really helpful!
