Much younger than that. I understood the concept as a child, when we’d visit the grandparents and our parents urged us to help with chores while our cousins got to lie around, watching tv.

i mean, there's lazy people out there for sure but it's literally never something to he a grouch about imo. they usually have adhd or depression and are struggling. or are self absorbed and selfish, which is the thing to be annoyed about. bc lazy people will deal with the discomfort to help their loved ones

Nope, I thought my sisters were lazy when I was a teen and they didn’t want to turn their hands to help.

I don't think anyone is lazy I always just assume something Is wrong with them health wise.

I don't. I think that is, ironically, a lazy way to think of how others operate.

@CountScrofula I think this is, ironically, a lazy way to troll.

@OlderSometimesWiser yes, younger siblings often get away with murder.

No, it's a lack of initiative. If you don't take initiative, you're lazy. It's not that nebulous of a concept.
kendoll · M
@SnailTeeth 🙄 I did not ask for your definition of lazy, but If I am "not willing" to jump off a bridge overpass into heavy speeding truck traffic, does that make me lazy?
SnailTeeth · 36-40, M
@kendoll I've referred to others as lazy my entire life, I doubt most people can think of a more common word for that type of behavior. Thus, everyone's likely used that as their word of reference for their entire lives. Just because you haven't used a word yet, doesn't mean that wouldn't be the word you would've used.
Thank you for pointing out the semantic flaw in my initial statements. I will simply redact the "not willing" section.

How old were you when you started being lazy?
