I had mine removed some years ago. The surgery and recovery are much easier than the gall bladder attacks that necessitated the removal.

Good luck, Ruby! The worst part is the sore tummy afterward. Feels a bit like having been stabbed...(because you've been stabbed), but it gets better quickly.
