I wish I knew what a heart attack feels like.

I have a chest pain that was rather uncomfortable for an hour.
It has eased off now to be almost non existent.
The pain was a band across my chest almost in line with the middle of my heart.
No other symptoms.
When I press on the area it feels like it would if there was bruising there.
I have done nothing to cause this bruising like pain.
More so on the side of my left ribs.
No, I am not going to ring for an ambulance (typical male).
It is 11.30 pm Saturday.

Have your heart checked out, could be a lot of things but if it comes back go get checked out.

@Gusman Do you have aspirin? They tell people who are having severe chest pain to take an aspirin, as it can help thin blood just enough to stave off a massive heart attack.. Maybe take one aspirin to be on safe side and gauge it tomorrow.
