Can someone explain something to me?

Okay, so some major Trump supporters have given him credit for the vaccine. Yet, some of these same ones are also extreme anti-vaxxers who think it is poison and refuse to take it. It's like two different personalities 😂.
These are the same folks who believe the Dems masterminded a plot to fake millions of ballots for thousands of jurisdictions, sneak them into hundreds of counting centers, evading tens of thousands of watchful eyes, and not slip up once. They also believe the Dems are not competent to run a lemonade stand. No, I can't explain their cognitive dissonance.

But it's certainly true that Trumpism correlates highly with Covid death.

Yeah being rational isn’t a pre requisite, kind of the same way they’ll insult your intelligence then use some juvenile insult

You're making a basic mistake of expecting consistency and logic... Trump supporters are a bit like the Red Queen, it can mean whatever they want it to mean and there's no contradiction in their minds when they do!
The arch enemy of a Trump culter? Logic..and truth. Gets "em every time. lol

It's one of the few times the fat guy misread "the base" by revealing his own true fear of the virus. The idea that they will bend to his will is really an optical illusion. They bend, but that is only the case when his will bends to their conspiracy orientation.

So, when he claimed he was draining the swamp, that played into the conspiracy that there is a swamp. It didn't matter to them he actually created a swamp. When he claimed the "deep state" was doing behind the scenes obscene acts (like eating babies), they signed up to it without any proof despite his association with Jeffrey Epstein, his interest in grabbing women by the pussy, etc. He gave "the base" what they wanted to hear and it looked like they were following him.

Now, "the base" was largely already on the anti-vaxx train before he took centre-stage. For example, they believed in "measles parties" for their kids, etc. So, when he got behind the COVID vaccine, for a virus that he initially called a hoax, they wouldn't go along. In fact, there is a formidable segment of "the base" that doesn't believe he really took the vaccine even though he has confirmed he has.

His power isn't so much he can direct "the base." It is more that he has a knack for telling "the base" what it wants to hear and then standing in front to make it look like he is leading them. If you look closely, they are actually dragging him.

The whole premise behind Reality TV programming in a nutshell. That and Twitter storms.

And this is why I always give President Trump full credit for operation warp speed & getting his shot. It usually silences the true believers. 😁

rational - these people? 😅
I'm fully vaccinated and getting a booster tomorrow.

But - which people are crediting him for the vaccine AND anti-vaxx?

It's my curious bone.

@Mamapolo2016 I have seen people on here give Trump credit for the vaccine on one post, and then totally condemn the vaccine on another. It makes absolutely no sense.
@Rose0415 You're right. It doesn't.

You're asking the irrational to be rational, the 2 don't mix, you just can't fix crazy 😄
Torsten · 36-40, M
You do know people can support someone but not agree with every little thing they do right?

Also wasnt it the libs who were anti vax when Trump was talking about the vaccine? Fucking hypocrites
Rose0415 · 36-40, F
@Torsten Sorry, but your argument crashed and burned before it even got off the ground...LMAO.

U.S. is teeming over with creeps and crazies. Trump being loved by tens of millions is proof of that. How the U.S. goes on day after day is amazing. But its days are numbered and it will take the rest of the world down with it. Insane
AbbySvenz · F
How about the ones hailing how he got the vaccine so quickly (nobody got it quicker! It’s a beautiful vaccine, just beautiful …)... and then complaining about how it was rushed?

It's a condition known as Trumpism. It will replace Schrödinger's cat thought experiment.

Trump understands nuclear. He is a stable genius.

They are two different groups that somehow fall under the same umbrella.

Have to keep in mind that there are a lot of groups at play here.

Not all Trump supporters are Republicans. Not all Republicans are Trump supporters. And some people are neither Trump supporters nor Republicans but simply hate "the libs".

Trump also very frequently contradicts himself. He sends out several messages regarding the same topic at different times so different groups of people can point to something he said and think "he gets it". Which leads to people of varying opinions supporting the same person while thinking everyone else who supports him believes what they do.

There is no sense or logic in it. Their fearless leader has even told them to get vaccinated and they refuse. Even he is vaccinated.
